Across the globe, brands have announced ambitious sustainable packaging goals to support the transition to a circular, net-zero economy. With many of these brands committing to 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable packaging, they look to suppliers on the cutting edge of safely, reliably, and cost-effectively designing for circularity and developing products that are made to be remade.
Berry Global has won Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m) at the Made in Central and East England Awards, which celebrate the cream of the region’s manufacturing industry, and is now a finalist for the National Awards to be announced in June.
Berry Global Group, Inc. (NYSE: BERY), Peel Plastic Products Ltd., and ExxonMobil (NYSE: XOM) today announced they are working together to integrate International Sustainability and Carbon Certificate (ISCC) PLUS certified-circular plastics into pet food packaging for household brand names.
With sustainability being one of the overriding criteria for companies’ ongoing packaging requirements, Berry Global will take the opportunity through its participation at Interpack to help visitors navigate some of the challenges of sustainable pack development and explain one of the very latest solutions, to demonstrate how plastics can play a key role in the move to a circular economy.
