Responsible Sourcing

Our corporate ethics extends beyond our manufacturing facilities and encompasses the suppliers in which we source our materials to promote an ethical supply chain.

Supplier Code of Conduct

We hold our supply chain to the equally high standard of integrity as we do for ourselves. They are expected to read and understand our Supplier Code of Conduct and acknowledge that they will adhere to it. We also share our reporting Helpline as an additional resource to speak up if they see something that violates our Supplier Code.

Conflict Minerals

Berry follows its obligation under Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act to report on our conflict minerals due diligence efforts. We all have an upstream responsibility in the supply chain to do our due diligence, so we expect our suppliers upon request will provide relevant information in regards to conflict minerals.

Environmental Actions – France

Superfos, a Berry Company in France, hosts five beehives. “We want to protect the environment and hosting the beehives is a way to show that we care. Without the pollination done by the bees, we would not have fruits, vegetables, and flowers,” stresses Factory Manager Sebastien Morey.

Social Responsibility – Mexico

For their efforts surrounding ethical business practices, labor relations, safety, community involvement, and environmental responsibility, the World Confederation of Business presented our San Luis Potosi facility with a Corporate Social Responsibility Certificate.
