Our analytical labs at Berry provide a wide range of evaluations to ensure product performance and safety standards are exceeded. Through a material and package performance lens, we validate package integrity with tests like top load performance, drop test and other ASTM assessments. Growing within metrology and analytical expertise, we are consistently working to improve the quality of our products for our customers and end users. Customers can visit labs for further understanding and ask for specific tests upon request.
Committed to meeting your needs, continuous improvement and risk mitigation, certifications within Berry are issued or maintained at manufacturing locations and often validated by a third party. Driving assurance and quality within manufacturing and finished products, we keep a close eye on guidelines regarding food safety, ethical sourcing, global and social responsibility as well as safety within pharmaceutical packaging. Some certifications at our sites that we have obtained relating to these are ISO 9001:2015, ISO 15378:2017, SQF (Safe Quality Foods), BRC (British Retail Consortium) and ISCC+ (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification).
Berry Global has the capability to manufacture in a controlled environment where pollutants like dust, airborne microbes, and aerosol particles are filtered to provide the cleanest production area possible. These areas are staffed with a fully gowned work force. Our Clean Room is ISO 7 class 10000 certified and reduces foreign particulates up to 99.9% for critical applications and has FDA approved lubricants and contact surfaces.
