Berry has launched the SuperCup, a game changer in the reusable beer and soft drink cup market. It offers a lightweight but sturdy solution that is both washable and stackable, and which can be attractively customised to individual customers’ branding requirements.

The SuperCup is suitable for all types of events where beer and soft drinks are being served. At the end, the SuperCups can simply be collected and rinsed, and are then ready for the next event. In this way, the SuperCup helps to limit the amount of single use plastic cups being thrown away.

Despite its sturdiness, the SuperCup is at least 30% lighter than the market standard for reusable beer cups. It is made from recyclable PP, making recycling possible and easy after final use where the appropriate systems exist, although it is primarily intended for reuse time and time again.

In addition, to meet increasing demand for circular packaging solutions, the SuperCup can be produced with polypropylene (PP) made from recycled plastic that has the same quality as virgin materials.

The recycled PP is produced by chemical recycling and Berry facilities throughout Europe hold the necessary ISCC PLUS certification. This ensures credible claims for circular materials as well as traceability throughout the chain of custody, which is based on mass balance.

The SuperCup’s very recognisable "beer" design and choice of decoration options - In-Mould Labelling in eight colours or offset printing in six different colours – makes it ideal as a bespoke marketing tool, with branding and messaging for all types of customer and corporate events. It can also be supplied as a standard neutral cup. Two sizes are available – 25cl and 50cl.
