Berry Global was the recipient of the “Enabling The Conagra Way” supplier excellence award in September 2021. Conagra Brands, one of North America's leading branded food companies, awarded its highest-ranking suppliers for their achievements in supporting food quality, efficiency, cost effectiveness and innovation across the company’s portfolio. Berry received this prestigious award, noting Berry’s integrity, agility, and broad-mindedness to deliver raw materials to Conagra’s network of facilities.

As a leader in plastic packaging manufacturing, Berry is a longtime, key supplier of Conagra. During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Berry worked hard to provide Conagra’s facilities with a consistent supply of packaging for its food.

Through consistent collaboration, the two companies have brought to life sustainable innovations such as the new package design for Conagra's Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa line, which, based on an analysis conducted by Berry Global, reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 15%* and improves product recyclability through a move from round canisters to a more eco-efficient recyclable cube. This redesign is an important step forward on Conagra and Barry’s sustainable packaging journey.
