We are honored to recognize one of our ReMARKable OneBerry team members for her efforts to support and promote women in the flexographic industry. Jennye Scott is helping to create a space where talented women can connect, learn from each other, and encourage each other’s success. This is just one example of the many team members at Berry using their unique knowledge and experiences to make a difference.
Jennye Scott
Jennye began her career at Berry 34 years ago and has since played an integral role in building Berry’s creative services department to include pre-press products for over 10 different decorating technologies. In addition to her leadership role within Berry, Jennye leverages her expertise to help create a meaningful impact in the broader Flexographic industry. As Chair of The Recruitment and Engagement Committee for the Flexographic Technical Association’s Women of Flexo, Jennye actively engages with women in the industry to network, empower recruitment, and reinforce retention. This includes hosting networking events, presenting at lunch and learn webinars, and developing annual conference presentations on relevant topics, like networking, overcoming guilt in the workplace, sorry syndrome, and developing a strategic perspective. “The Flexographic industry is very male dominated, and it’s nice to know there is a committee that works to include and encourage women to empower themselves and others. Being Chair of the Recruitment and Engagement committee encourages me to look at empowering women every day, whether it is inside my company, in the industry, or just at the store. Coordinating opportunities for women to come together is very exciting and worthwhile.”
