Berry Cleaning and Medical Packaging Help Protect Against COVID-19

In the fight against COVID-19, sanitation has reached heightened levels of importance. We are manufacturing the essential products that help support the healthcare, homecare, and pharmaceutical industries during this unprecedented time. “Proactive measures and home preparations increase as consumers focus on what they can control (their germs),” according to a recent Mintel Report.1

From this report, we have calculated that there is a 17% increase in how often consumers are washing their hands, an 8% increase in using hand sanitizers, and a 21% increase in usage of disinfectants and household cleaning supplies. We are continuing to support our customers with our production facilities around the globe, to continue making the bottles and closures needed along with our other essential products.

The CDC2 recommends taking steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19, which include: washing hands, avoiding close contact, wearing facemasks when sick, cleaning, and more. “Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily,” states the CDC. “To disinfect, the most common EPA-registered household disinfectants will work.”

During this time of increased demand for cleaning and medical packaging, we have closures and bottle combinations for soap available, as well as medical packer bottles, oval bottles, and child-resistant closures. We are also producing flip top closures for hand sanitizer options, PET bottles, and spray-through overcaps for disinfectant spray.
